Anti-HMGB1 (A164) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting HMGB1, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated preparation. The antibody is raised in rabbit and is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, reacting with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 131–180 of Human HMGB1. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of HMGB1 protein and recognises a target of approximately 25 kDa. It is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
