Anti-HMG-1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal preparation raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human HMG-1 (also known as HMGB1). The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of HMG-1 protein and is offered unconjugated in a 50 µL format at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. It is supplied as a liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and ELISA, and the reagent has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it a versatile choice for cross-species studies of HMG-1 expression in cell lysates and tissue extracts.
