Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human HLX1, enabling selective detection of endogenous levels of the total HLX1 protein, also known as HLX or Homeobox protein HB24. The antiserum is provided as a polyclonal, unconjugated IgG preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The 50 µL size ships refrigerated at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at −20 °C, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles that can compromise antibody integrity. Validated applications include Western Blotting (WB) and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and the reagent has been confirmed to react with human samples, making it a reliable choice for studies investigating homeobox transcription factor function in cell lines and primary cultures. The host species, clonality, isotype family (rabbit IgG) and unconjugated format allow flexible downstream labelling with secondary antibodies of the researcher's choice, supporting both chromogenic and fluorescence-based detection workflows. As with all Antibodies.com primary antibodies, the product is intended strictly for research use and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, ensuring high specificity toward the target immunogen.
