HLA-DQB2 is a beta chain subunit of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II family, encoded on chromosome 6p21.32 within the HLA region. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against HLA-DQB2 and validated for Western Blot detection in human and mouse samples, supporting research into antigen presentation pathways and MHC class II expression profiling.

Supplied as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody fits standard immunoblotting workflows. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, which can be useful when probing conformational or post-translationally modified forms of the protein. Sodium azide is included as a microbial preservative for routine bench handling.

In immunological studies, altered MHC class II subunit expression has been examined in autoimmune conditions, viral infection contexts, and transplant-related research. Cross-reactivity with mouse samples enables parallel investigation in murine disease models, supporting translational comparisons across species. For long-term use, storage at -20 °C in single-use aliquots helps preserve antibody activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
