The HLA-DMB protein functions as the beta subunit of the HLA-DM heterodimer, a key chaperone that catalyzes peptide exchange on MHC class II molecules within late endosomal and lysosomal compartments. This polyclonal reagent, raised in a Rabbit host and supplied as an unconjugated preparation in a 100 µl vial, is validated for Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry workflows on Human samples.
Researchers studying antigen presentation, autoimmune disease models, and immune cell biology use this reagent to track HLA-DMB expression in B lymphocytes, dendritic cells, and other professional antigen-presenting cells. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with custom reporter labels, while the polyclonal nature provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, supporting consistent staining across tissue sections from human donors. Antibodies.com supplies this reagent for research use only, with reactivity limited to the human species as documented in the product specification.
