Anti-HIV1 p55 + p24 + p17 Antibody

The Antibodies.com anti-HIV1 p55 + p24 + p17 polyclonal antibody recognizes the HIV-1 group-specific antigen (Gag) precursor polyprotein (Pr55^gag) and its mature cleavage products, including the capsid (p24) and matrix (p17) proteins generated during viral protease processing.

Pr55^gag is a 55 kDa structural polyprotein that drives virion assembly at the plasma membrane; tracking full-length and processed forms in transfected or infected cells is a standard approach for studying Gag expression, cleavage kinetics, and particle release. The unconjugated rabbit IgG supports western blot, dot blot, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA workflows, allowing researchers to resolve precursor and mature species from the same lysate preparation.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid for dilution into standard Tris- or PBS-based buffers. For reproducible signal, aliquot and store at -20 °C in single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and avoid leaving working dilutions at room temperature.
