Anti-HIV1 Nef Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-HIV1 Nef polyclonal antibody is raised in guinea pig and specifically recognizes the ~27 kDa Nef accessory protein of Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1. Supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot of unconjugated IgG, this reagent is validated for western blot, dot blot, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA workflows. Nef is a key virulence factor driving viral replication, promoting endocytosis of host CD4 receptors, and downregulating MHC class I from the infected cell surface, which makes this antibody useful for studies of HIV pathogenesis, viral protein detection, and immune evasion mechanisms.
