Anti-Histone H4 (mono methyl K20) Antibody

Antibodies.com offers this rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Histone H4 mono-methylated at lysine 20 (K20). The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a liquid and is reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 11 kDa.

The antibody is listed for use in Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), ChIP, and ChIPseq, and has been validated for WB, IHC, ICC/IF, and Dot Blot. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF, and 1:500–1:2,000 for Dot Blot. The immunogen is a synthetic monomethylated peptide corresponding to the region around K20 of human Histone H4 (NP_003529.1).

The reagent is purified by affinity chromatography and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
