Anti-Histone H4 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against Histone H4 and detects endogenous levels of the protein specifically when the K92 lysine residue is in its non-acetylated state. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from human Histone H4 flanking the non-acetylation site of K92, and cross-reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples, making it a versatile choice for chromatin and nuclear-marker studies across common model systems. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and is unconjugated to allow flexible downstream detection chemistries. Validated applications are Western blot and ELISA, with Western blot performance demonstrated on PC12 cell lysates.
