Anti-Histone H4 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Histone H4, supplied by Antibodies.com. The reagent is of the IgG isotype and is provided unconjugated. It has been validated for Western blot (WB), with immunohistochemistry (IHC) also listed as a supported application, and it reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 40–100 of human Histone H4 (accession NP_003529.1). It is produced in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a molecular weight of 11 kDa. For Western blot a recommended dilution range of 1:500–1:1,000 is suggested. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal.

It is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
