Anti-Histone H4 (Acetyl-K5) Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com and stocked by the Saudi distributor AFMS (Abdulla Fouad for Medical Supplies & Services), this primary antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent raised against histone H4 acetylated at lysine 5 (K5ac). It is supplied as 50 µl of liquid in a stabilising buffer of 1× TBS (pH 7.4) supplemented with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and the antibody itself is presented in an unconjugated format suitable for downstream labelling by the end user. The reagent is validated by Antibodies.com for Western blot, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry, and it cross-reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, making it useful across common mammalian model systems as well as human tissue. Histone H4 is an ~11 kDa core nucleosomal protein, and this clone is intended to detect the protein only when the K5 residue is acetylated, a modification linked to chromatin opening, transcription activation and the DNA-damage response.
