Anti-Histone H4 (Acetyl-K12) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Histone H4 when acetylated at lysine 12 (K12). It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), reacting with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide including acetyl-lysine 12 of Histone H4 and specifically detects endogenous levels of Histone H4 only when acetylated at K12. It is affinity-purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 11 kDa.

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
