Anti-Histone H3 (tri methyl K79) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com, raised against Histone H3 with trimethylation at lysine 79 (tri methyl Lys79). The reagent is of the IgG isotype, is unconjugated, and shows reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation (IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and Dot Blot applications.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic trimethylated peptide corresponding to the region around K79 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1) and is affinity purified. It is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The detected target has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. Suggested dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, ICC/IF and ChIP, and 1:500–1:2,000 for Dot Blot. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
