Anti-Histone H3 (tri methyl K36) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises Histone H3 when trimethylated at Lys36. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG reagent in liquid form, raised in rabbit and reactive with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen was a synthetic trimethylated peptide around K36 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the reported sequence GVKKP, and the reagent was affinity purified. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and the target protein runs at approximately 17 kDa. Concentration is lot specific.

Recommended applications are WB at 1:500–1:1,000, IHC at 1:50–1:200, ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200, IP at 1:50–1:200, ChIP at 1:20–1:100 and ChIP-seq at 1:20–1:100. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
