Anti-Histone H3 (tri methyl K27) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises Histone H3 when tri-methylated at Lys27 (K27). It is raised against a synthetic trimethylated peptide around K27 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence AARKS, and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The unconjugated antibody is affinity-purified and has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. Storage conditions call for shipment at 4°C followed by aliquoting and storage at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.

Reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, the antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation (IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and ChIP-seq. Recommended dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200, IP 1:50–1:200, ChIP 1:20–1:100 and ChIP-seq 1:20–1:100. Concentration is lot specific.
