This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognises Histone H3 dimethylated at arginine 8. It is raised against a synthetic symmetric dimethylated peptide corresponding to the region around R8 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence TARKS. The antibody is of the IgG isotype and is supplied unconjugated as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide, at a lot-specific concentration, following affinity purification.

Validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation (IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and ChIP-seq, the antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 17 kDa. Recommended dilutions are WB 1:100-1:500, IHC 1:50-1:200, ICC/IF 1:50-1:200, IP 1:50-1:200, ChIP 1:20-1:50 and ChIP-seq 1:20-1:50.
