Anti-Histone H3 (symmetric di methyl R26) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises Histone H3 when symmetrically dimethylated at arginine 26. It was raised against a synthetic symmetric dimethylated peptide surrounding R26 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence AARKS. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa.

Validated applications are Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Manufacturer-recommended dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
