Rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com, raised against Histone H3 when phosphorylated at threonine 11. The unconjugated IgG reagent targets the phospho Thr11 modification of Histone H3 and has been validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications. Reactivity is reported against human, mouse, and rat samples.
The antibody is produced in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography. It is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. The molecular weight of the Histone H3 target is reported at 17 kDa. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around T11 of human HIST1H3B (NP_003520.1), with the peptide sequence KSTGG.
Recommended working dilutions, as listed by the manufacturer, are WB: 1:500-1:2,000, IHC: 1:50-1:200, and ICC/IF: 1:50-1:200. Concentration is given as lot specific. For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
