Anti-Histone H3 (mono methyl R2) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody is supplied unconjugated and raised against Histone H3 mono methylated at arginine 2 (R2). It is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic monomethylated peptide corresponding to the region around R2 of human histone H3, and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 17 kDa. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot, 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF, and 1:50–1:200 for ChIP. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
