Anti-Histone H3 (mono methyl R17) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Histone H3 mono-methylated at arginine 17. It is of the IgG isotype, unconjugated, and reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody was raised against a synthetic monomethylated peptide surrounding R17 of human histone H3 (immunogen sequence APRKQ) and is affinity purified.

Validated applications include Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ICC/IF, Immunoprecipitation (IP), ChIP, and ChIP-seq. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. The reagent is supplied as a liquid in PBS pH 7.3 containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal; concentration is lot specific. It is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt, aliquot and store at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Recommended starting dilutions are: WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200, IP 1:50–1:200, ChIP 1:20–1:100, and ChIP-seq 1:20–1:100.
