Anti-Histone H3 (mono methyl K9) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises Histone H3 mono-methylated at Lys9. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein migrates at approximately 14 kDa. Reported reactivity covers human, mouse and rat samples.

Validated applications include Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), ChIP-seq and Dot Blot. The immunogen was a synthetic monomethylated peptide around K9 of human histone H3 (accession NP_003520.1), with the peptide sequence ARKST. Manufacturer-recommended starting dilutions are: Dot Blot 1:500–1:2,000, WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200, ChIP 1:50–1:100 and ChIP-seq 1:20–1:100. Concentration is lot specific.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
