Anti-Histone H3 (mono methyl K4) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against Histone H3 and specific for the mono methyl Lys4 (K4) modification. It is supplied unconjugated as a liquid, affinity-purified preparation, and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic monomethylated peptide corresponding to the region around K4 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence RTKQT. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal.

Recommended applications and suggested dilutions are: WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200, IP 1:50–1:200, ChIP 1:20–1:100, and ChIP-seq 1:20–1:100. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is lot specific.
