Anti-Histone H3 (mono methyl K36) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com that recognises Histone H3 mono-methylated at Lys36 (K36). The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and is raised against a synthetic monomethylated peptide spanning the K36 region of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence GVKKP. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. The antibody is purified by affinity methods; concentration is lot specific.

Validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation (IP) and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), and also recommended for ChIP-seq and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Recommended working dilutions are: WB 1:500–1:1,000; ICC/IF 1:50–1:200; IP 1:50–1:200; ChIP 1:20–1:100; and ChIP-seq 1:20–1:100. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
