Anti-Histone H3 (mono methyl K27) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises Histone H3 mono-methylated at lysine 27 (K27). The unconjugated antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and is intended for use as a primary antibody.

The immunogen is a synthetic monomethylated peptide corresponding to the region around K27 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the peptide sequence ARKSA. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa, and the antibody concentration is lot-specific.

Recommended applications include Western blot (1:500–1:1,000), immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:200), ICC/IF (1:50–1:200), ChIP (1:50–1:200), immunoprecipitation, ChIPseq and Dot Blot (1:500–1:2,000). The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
