Anti-Histone H3 (di methyl K79) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, unconjugated, raised against Histone H3 dimethylated at Lys79. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa and the reagent is validated for use with human, mouse, and rat samples.

Recommended applications include Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, ChIP, and ChIP-seq. Suggested working dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:100, ICC/IF 1:50–1:200, IP 1:500–1:1,000, ChIP 1:500–1:1,000, and ChIP-seq 1:50–1:200.

The immunogen is a synthetic dimethylated peptide corresponding to residues around K79 of human Histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence DFKTD. The antibody is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. Concentration is lot specific. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
