Anti-Histone H3 (di methyl K36) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targeting Histone H3 with di-methylation at Lys36. Raised in rabbit and of the IgG isotype, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been affinity purified. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation (IP), ChIP and ChIP-seq, and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic dimethylated peptide around K36 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence GVKKP. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for IHC, ICC/IF and IP, and 1:20–1:100 for ChIP and ChIP-seq. Concentration is lot specific. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
