Anti-Histone H3 (di methyl K14) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised against Histone H3 and specifically recognises the di-methyl Lys14 (K14) modification. It is unconjugated and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, with the target protein reported at 17 kDa.

It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation (IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and ChIP-seq. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF and IP, and 1:20–1:100 for ChIP and ChIP-seq.

The immunogen is a synthetic dimethylated peptide corresponding to the region around K14 of human Histone H3 (NP_003520.1). The reagent is supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity purified. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
