Anti-Histone H3 (asymmetric di methyl R26) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody raised against asymmetric di-methyl Arg26 of Histone H3, supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com as a liquid reagent. The antibody was generated against a synthetic asymmetric dimethylated peptide around R26 of human histone H3 (NP_003520.1), with the immunogen sequence AARKS. It is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal.

Reactivity has been demonstrated with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, and the target protein runs at 14 kDa. Recommended dilutions are Western blot at 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200, and the product is validated for WB and ICC/IF. The catalogue entry also lists WB, IHC, IF, and IP among supported applications. The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
