Anti-Histone H3 Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com targeting Histone H3, supplied as a mouse monoclonal reagent in a 100 µl vial. Histone H3 is a core component of the nucleosome octamer and one of the most heavily post-translationally modified nuclear proteins, with well-characterized methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation marks on its N-terminal tail that regulate chromatin structure and gene expression.

This unconjugated antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, and reacts with samples from human, rat, and mouse origins. Because Histone H3 is constitutively expressed in nucleated cells, anti-H3 reagents are routinely deployed as chromatin and loading references for normalization in western blot.

The mouse IgG host format is compatible with standard anti-mouse secondary reagents in multiplexed imaging, and the unconjugated presentation gives laboratories flexibility to conjugate the antibody to a preferred fluorophore or enzyme.
