Anti-Histone H3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum, this reagent targets Histone H3, one of the four core histones (H3, H4, H2A, H2B) that package eukaryotic DNA into nucleosomes. The antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows and cross-reacts with samples from human, mouse, and rat origin, supporting cell- and tissue-based studies in multiple model organisms. Because Histone H3 is constitutively expressed in nearly all nucleated cells, the reagent is frequently deployed as a loading control to normalize chromatin, nuclear, and whole-cell lysate preparations.
