Anti-Histone H3 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com and supplied through AFMS, this recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent provides highly specific detection of mono-methylated Histone H3 at lysine 18 (H3K18me1), an epigenetic mark linked to active chromatin and transcriptional regulation. The antibody (clone ID ARC2621, IgG isotype) was raised against a synthetic monomethylated peptide surrounding K18 of human Histone H3 (UniProt P68431, sequence APRKQ) and is affinity-purified for consistent batch-to-batch performance. It is supplied as a 50 µL liquid in TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and is unconjugated, allowing flexible pairing with secondary detection reagents. Validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunoprecipitation (IP), chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and dot blot applications, it is recommended at 1:500–1:1,000 for WB, IP, ChIP and dot blot, and at 1:50–1:200 for IHC and ICC/IF. The reagent reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, is shipped at 4 °C on wet ice, and should be aliquoted and stored long-term at –20 °C with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
