Histone H3 mono-methylation at lysine 37 (H3K37me1) is a chromatin-associated epigenetic mark investigated in studies of histone modification crosstalk and gene regulation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the H3K37me1 residue and is validated for Western blot detection of Histone H3 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The product is intended for research use only.

Supplied as 100 µl of antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, the reagent is aliquoted for single-use convenience where possible. For handling, store frozen at -20 degrees C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light; the sodium azide preservative keeps the product stable during active bench use on ice. Sodium azide is incompatible with copper and lead plumbing, so disposal through a dedicated laboratory waste route is recommended.

As a polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit, the reagent recognizes multiple epitopes on the mono-methyl K37 region, supporting robust signal in chromatin-enriched nuclear extracts and acid-extracted histone preparations. Researchers studying histone methylation writers, erasers, and readers, as well as comparative modification mapping across species, use this reagent to profile H3K37me1 alongside other histone marks in WB workflows. The unconjugated format allows secondary antibody pairing of the researcher's choice for chemiluminescent or fluorescence detection.
