Anti-Histone H3 (Acetyl-K9) Antibody

A polyclonal rabbit antibody raised against Histone H3 acetylated at lysine 9 (Ac-K9), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary reagent. The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

It is produced in Rabbit and purified from antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen — a synthetic peptide spanning acetyl-lysine 9 of Histone H3 — with purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The target protein migrates at ~ 17 kDa. Specificity has been demonstrated for endogenous Histone H3 only when acetylated at K9.
