Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl K9) Antibody

An affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against a synthetic acetylated peptide with the sequence ARKST, corresponding to the region around Lys9 of human Histone H3 (NP_003520.1). The reagent is supplied unconjugated in liquid form and recognises Histone H3 bearing the acetyl Lys9 modification, validating reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples, where the target migrates at approximately 17 kDa.

Formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted on receipt and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.

Recommended dilutions are Western blot at 1:500-1:1,000, immunohistochemistry at 1:50-1:200, ICC/IF at 1:50-1:200, immunoprecipitation at 1:50-1:200, ChIP at 1:20-1:100 and ChIP-seq at 1:20-1:50.
