Anti-Histone H3 (acetyl K18) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against a synthetic acetylated peptide around K18 of human Histone H3. It is supplied unconjugated in liquid form (phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300) and purified by affinity chromatography. The antibody is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples and targets Histone H3 acetylated at Lys18, with a reported molecular weight of 17 kDa.

Applications include western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, ChIP and ChIP-seq. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB, 1:200–1:500 for IHC, 1:500–1:1,000 for ICC/IF, 1:200–1:500 for IP, and 1:50–1:100 for both ChIP and ChIP-seq. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
