Anti-Histone H3 (Acetyl-K123) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting Histone H3 when acetylated at Lys123, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent for Western blot (WB) applications. The antibody is raised in rabbit and has been validated to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

Specificity is directed against endogenous levels of Histone H3 protein only when acetylated at Lys123. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from human Histone H3 around the acetylated Lys123 residue. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is > 96% (by SDS-PAGE).

The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3. The target protein has a molecular weight of ~ 14 kDa.
