Anti-Histone H3.3 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against Histone H3.3 and is supplied as a 50 µL liquid at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody is unconjugated and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen consisting of a synthesized peptide derived from human Histone H3.3 around the non-phosphorylation site of serine 31. It is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and it is reported to detect endogenous levels of Histone H3.3 in HeLa cells by Western blot. The reagent is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples, making it well suited to cross-species studies of chromatin biology and histone variant distribution. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody activity.
