Anti-Histone H2B (K5) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting Histone H2B (K5), distributed by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and it reacts with human and mouse samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids at the N-terminus of human Histone H2B. The antibody detects endogenous levels of Histone H2B protein, with an apparent molecular weight of ~ 14 kDa. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, achieving a purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
