Anti-Histone H2B Antibody

Offered through the Antibodies.com catalogue, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against Histone H2B and detects endogenous levels of the total Histone H2B protein in human samples. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human Histone H2B, and the antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using this epitope-specific immunogen. Supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, the preparation is formulated in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabilizer. The antibody is unconjugated and of the rabbit IgG isotype, making it well suited for standard immunodetection workflows. Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF), and reactivity is reported for human samples. The reagent is recommended to be stored at -20 °C for long-term stability (up to one year), consistent with conventional handling of polyclonal primary antibodies in this format.
