Anti-Histone H2B Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Histone H2B and is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form. It is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The antibody was raised against a synthetic acetylated peptide around K12 of human Histone H2B (NP_003519.1), with the immunogen sequence APKKG, and was purified by affinity chromatography. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with a lot-specific concentration. The reported molecular weight is 14 kDa, and recommended dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000 and IHC 1:50–1:200. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
