Anti-Histone H2AX (phospho S139) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognising Histone H2A.X when phosphorylated at Ser139, available from Antibodies.com. The reagent is unconjugated and raised in rabbit. Listed applications are WB, IHC and IF, with WB validated by the manufacturer at recommended dilutions of 1:100–1:500. The antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around S139 of human Histone H2AX (NP_002096.1), with the sequence TQASQ. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa, and the product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300. Purification is by antigen affinity chromatography.

It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
