Anti-Histone H2A.Z / H2A.F / Z Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 1–15 of human H2AFZ, providing selective detection of the Histone H2A.Z variant (synonyms: H2A/z, H2AFZ, H2AZ, H2AZ1). Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline with 10% glycerol (pH 7.0) and 0.01% Thimerosal as preservative, the reagent has been validated for Western blot on Jurkat whole-cell lysate at a working dilution of approximately 1:1000, for immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded SCC4 xenograft tissue at 1:100, and for confocal immunofluorescence on paraformaldehyde-fixed U2OS cells at 1:500. Reactivity is reported for human samples, and the antibody is purified by antigen-affinity chromatography to minimise non-specific background. Shipping is performed at 4 °C; upon receipt the vial should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided, in line with standard handling of polyclonal primaries. The host species is rabbit and clonality is polyclonal, allowing flexible pairing with the manufacturer's range of goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L secondaries offered in AP, biotin, FITC, and HRP formats.
