Anti-Histone H2A.Z / H2A.F / Z Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against Histone H2A.Z (also known as H2A.F/Z, H2AFZ, H2AZ or H2AZ1) and is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified antiserum in a 100 µl vial. The antibody is produced in rabbit and belongs to the IgG isotype, with clonality confirmed as polyclonal, and is purified by antigen-affinity chromatography. It was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 65 and 128 of the human H2AFZ protein. The product is intended for use on human samples and has been validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, making it well suited to chromatin and nuclear-marker studies. The formulation is 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline, pH 7.0, containing 10% glycerol, with 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative; the concentration is reported as lot-specific. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
