Anti-Histone H2A.X (phospho-S139) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Histone H2A.X and specifically recognises the protein only when phosphorylated at Serine 139. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Histone H2A.X around the phosphorylation site of Serine 139.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, the unconjugated antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The target protein is Histone H2A.X, with a reported molecular weight of approximately 15 kDa. According to the manufacturer, the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
