Anti-Histone H2A.X (phospho-S139) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against Histone H2A.X phosphorylated at Serine 139, generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from the human protein around the phosphorylation site.

The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of Histone H2A.X only when phosphorylated at Ser139, and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications across human, mouse and rat samples. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, with purity reported as greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and recognises a target migrating at approximately 15 kDa.
