Anti-Histone H2A.X Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Histone H2A.X, a nucleosome core component central to the cellular DNA damage response. H2A.X is rapidly phosphorylated on Ser139 to form γH2A.X at sites of DNA double-strand breaks, where it nucleates repair-factor recruitment and chromatin remodeling around the lesion. Investigators working on genome stability, ionizing-radiation biology, cancer therapeutics that induce DNA breaks, and V(D)J recombination rely on anti-H2A.X reagents to monitor break formation and resolution.
