Anti-HIST2H3A Antibody

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated IgG, this polyclonal reagent targets Histone Cluster 2 H3A, the replication-dependent histone H3.2 variant that incorporates into nucleosomes during S-phase chromatin assembly. Validated for Western blot detection of human HIST2H3A, the antibody performs on whole-cell lysates and acid-extracted nuclear fractions.

The reagent supports chromatin biology, epigenetic regulation, and DNA replication studies. Because HIST2H3A differs from the H3.3 replacement variant by only a few residues, this antibody is commonly paired with H3.3-specific reagents to distinguish newly synthesized H3.2 deposition from replacement-variant incorporation in pulse-labeling experiments.
