HisRS, also known as Histidyl-tRNA synthetase, is an aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase that catalyzes the attachment of histidine to its cognate tRNA during protein translation, and it has also been studied as a target of autoantibody responses in certain inflammatory conditions. This Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the HisRS protein and is supplied as an unconjugated preparation in a 100 µl vial format, intended for research use only.

The antibody has been validated across multiple applications including Western blot for detection in cell and tissue lysates, immunohistochemistry on fixed sections, immunofluorescence for subcellular localization studies, and ELISA protocols. It recognizes the target in both human and mouse samples, enabling comparative studies between orthologues in cell biology and immunology research.

The polyclonal format increases the probability of binding multiple epitopes on the target protein, which can be useful when probing closely related isoforms, post-translational modifications, or truncated variants. As with most liquid polyclonal reagents, aliquoting upon first thaw is recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles that can reduce binding activity over time.
