The Antibodies.com Anti-His Tag Antibody (HRP) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent directly conjugated to horseradish peroxidase, enabling single-step chemiluminescent signal generation in western blot workflows without the need for a secondary antibody. It recognizes the polyhistidine (6xHis) epitope frequently appended to recombinant fusion proteins, allowing researchers to verify expression and approximate molecular weight of His-tagged constructs following SDS-PAGE separation. The 100 µg liquid formulation is supplied in a single vial and can be diluted directly into blocking buffer; for routine use keep refrigerated, and to preserve activity across multiple experiments aliquot the conjugate and freeze at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
