Anti-His Tag Antibody [10A12]

Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 10A12) targeting the His Tag, supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com in lyophilised form. The reagent is of the IgG1 isotype, validated for Western blot (WB), and reported as reactive with human samples.

It was raised against a synthetic 6 x Histidine peptide conjugated with KLH and specifically binds His-tagged recombinant proteins, while not recognising KLH itself. Purification is performed by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the lyophilised product is formulated in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C on arrival, with freeze / thaw cycles to be avoided. The preparation is reconstituted with double distilled water, and the final concentration is reconstitution dependent.
